Exploring Chakra Dimensions with Yantra & Mantra
Chakra yantras are powerful tools used in meditation to activate and balance the energy and psychic centers within your subtle body. A Chakra yantra is the geometrical representation of a particular chakra and each chakra has is own unique yantra. A Chakra yantra is the visual representation of the specific energy and qualities of the chakra.
By visually focusing your awareness on the Chakra yantra and repeating its corresponding mantra vibration, you can awaken and harmonize each chakra and the entire system. This type of meditation can lead to improved health by activating and balancing the chakra system, and it can deepen understanding of self and others.
Yantra meditation is a powerful tool. During the Yantra Meditation, you start with gazing at the yantra and allow it to become a focal point for your thoughts and intentions. Then, you close your eyes and try to recreate the image in your mind. It is a form of steady gazing known as Trataka, a powerful tool for cleansing the mind and preparing for deeper meditation (recommended in the Hatha Yoga Pradipika).
When practicing this form of meditation, be patient, consistent, and open minded, as results vary for each person. It is always recommended to seek guidance from an experienced teacher, such as Swami Muktibodhananda, to ensure proper understanding and practice of Chakra yantra meditation.
Your physical body is a storehouse of energy. Ancient yogis have given us the practices to harness this energy and direct it at will for healing through the meditational technique of Prana Vidya. Join Swami Muktibodhananda on Zoom and empower yourself through Prana Vidya.
